VIBRAPAD EXTERNAL MOUNTING, THE ORIGINAL
SGH Schüttguthandling has been known for years for its quick and easy external installation options. Thanks to the patented SGH VibraPad external mounting, existing silos can be fitted or retrofitted from the outside in a very short space of time with installation in the silo or container wall being a quick and easy process. Time and cost-intensive welding and assembly tasks are a thing of the past.
The SGH VibraPads can also be removed with very little difficulty. This variant is also suitable for visual inspections, cleaning work with solvents or replacing the elastomer sleeves. This patented and unique solution is available for almost our entire portfolio. A sustainable investment in your asset.

The pad is vibrated by means of being supplied with dosed compressed air from the outside and this function causes the product to be loosened from the container wall. These vibrations are transmitted to the bulk material, which in turn begins to vibrate.
In this way, a so-called “bridging” – when a kind of stable vault forms above the discharge opening, causing the bulk material flow to come to a standstill. – is avoided. The product is able to flow out freely due to the vibrations and the ventilation.
SGH VibraPads should only be operated intermittently and with metered air during product removal. Their role is to cause stalled/badly flowing bulk material to flow freely from a container and it is often the case that just a single pulse of metered air is sufficient to make this happen. They are not designed to ensure the discharge of a certain quantity of bulk material within a particular period of time.

Silo Fluidizer
SGH Schüttguthandling provides a new, fully pneumatic installation package for the entire VibraPad product range.
The VibraPads, including all special designs and materials, can now be installed by means of a ready-made, turnkey control system. The overall solution operates on a purely pneumatic basis and was developed in close collaboration with FESTO.
